Accounts Payable Associate
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for facilitating all daily functions related to accounts payable. Your role will involve efficient and accurate processing of tasks, providing customer service, conducting research, and executing journal entries with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines. Responsibilities include processing vendor and supplier invoices, posting and reconciling supplier payments, managing prepayments, communicating effectively with partners, maintaining supplier accounts, researching and assisting with repayment for checks not cleared, resolving new and duplicate suppliers, completing 1099 forms accurately, entering credit memos, understanding data entry implications on ERP and financial systems, updating and verifying name, address, payment information, credit, and payment terms, following appropriate controls and maintaining approval thresholds, managing incoming emails, and partnering with internal business units to ensure smooth operations. Essential skills include accounts payable experience, accounting knowledge, journal entry proficiency, reconciliation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, invoice processing capabilities, and data entry accuracy. Additional skills and qualifications include mentorship experience, minimum of 3-5 years of accounts payable experience, strong communication skills, an associates degree in accounting or finance, experience with Google Docs, specifically Google Sheets, and experience with journal entries. This position offers an hourly rate in the range of $21-$24. Pay and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
