Job Title: Note Finance Sales, West Coast Market Manager

Biltmore What you'll do: We are seeking an experienced, business development-focused individual to join the Western Alliance Bank Note Financing Sales Team. This position primarily manages an existing loan portfolio and develops new revolving lines of credit, treasury, and depository relationships with private real estate lenders on the West Coast. The role acts as a sales leader and liaison between internal and external teams, managing the Note Financing loan portfolio, and working with Sales and Credit Teams on loan origination, negotiation, underwriting, closing, and portfolio reporting. This is a remote position with up to 50% travel, including property visits and bank office work. The Commercial Banker L&D Sales II is responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and closing major commercial loans, focusing on revolving lines of credit secured by real estate notes, and pursuing deposit and cross-sell opportunities. The role aims to meet individual, division, and corporate goals through active sales management and client engagement, managing both sales and credit responsibilities. Identify and prioritize target borrowers. Engage in business development and solicit new business from target borrowers. Visit and call target customers to promote Bank products, establish a note financing portfolio, and cross-sell opportunities. Develop and maintain a customer database, report on activities, and contribute to strategic planning. Interview applicants, review financial information, and assess loan requests. Formulate financing requests, negotiate loan terms, and seek approvals. Coordinate loan processing, ensure compliance, and resolve processing issues. Stay informed on industry trends and represent the Bank at conferences. Collaborate on economic strategies and prepare client presentations. Monitor sales pipelines, ensure follow-up, and track KPIs. Assess risk exposure for new clients. Areas of key focus include: Note Finance: Manage existing loans and deepen borrower relationships, including treasury products. Prioritize and originate new deals, from term sheets to closing. Manage portfolio and cross-sell to grow relationships. Attend industry conferences and collaborate with Treasury and Interest Rate Hedging teams. Maintain pipeline integrity and conduct industry research. What you'll need: 7+ years of related experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Knowledge of banking operations, treasury management, and compliance. Strong relationship management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Up to 50% travel may be required. Compensation:
Salary ranges vary by location, typically $130,400 - $161,083 for Colorado and $115,915 - $143,185 for Nevada. Compensation may include bonuses and stock options.
