The Solution Sales Executive (SSE) partners with the end-to-end account owner to drive solution-specific sales, focusing on SAP's procurement and ofcfo products. The candidate should have relevant domain expertise to address customer business challenges faced by CFOs and Chief Procurement Officers. The ideal candidate will have experience formulating and presenting viewpoints to finance and procurement stakeholders, utilizing all available resources to solve customer problems related to SAP's ofcfo and procurement solutions (finance, spend and supplier management, working capital management, GRC, and QTC solutions). Responsibilities: Generate demand, manage pipelines, and close opportunities. Develop opportunity plans with compelling solution value propositions. Conduct white space analysis to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with the wider account team on sales campaigns. Manage customer relationships at the solution area/buying center level. Advance opportunities for cloud migration, account expansion, or new accounts in the solution area. Leverage deep knowledge of business operations, models, strategies, and processes. Stay informed about SAP's competitors and value drivers. Utilize SAP's team of experts and industry knowledge to meet customer needs. Build customer participation in SAP communities, programs, and events. Facilitate collaboration with the partner ecosystem. This is a field sales role requiring up to 50% travel. Qualifications: Proven track record in business application software sales with quota achievement. 3-5 years of experience in sales of business software/IT solutions. Deep understanding of solutions and innovations. Broad knowledge of SAP's solution portfolio and associated business processes. Established relationships with account teams, customer business offices, and geo-unit leaders. Experience with large transactions and challenging sales pursuits. Strong contractual and negotiation skills. Experience driving renewals, expansions, and upsells of subscription or perpetual license solutions. Knowledge of financial, regulatory, and competitive environments. Team and Skills: This role reports to the VP of Sales for the finance and spend management team in the West. Excellent communication and executive presence. Strategic, analytical, creative, and innovative thinking. Results-oriented with strong commercial deal support skills, especially for subscription-based solutions. Experience selling to procurement and finance is desirable. Compensation Transparency: SAP values pay transparency, providing an annualized compensation range of $186,600 - $397,300 USD, including base salary and variable incentives. The final offer depends on education, skills, experience, scope, location, and performance.
