DPR Construction . 2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants. Job Description DPR Construction is seeking a project manager with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience. The project manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of multiple special services group projects ($10 million and under) from pre-construction through closeout. Management will oversee commercial projects within our core markets: healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and commercial. Responsibilities include: Management of all project team members (senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator). Mentoring, developing, and training project engineers for growth. Maintaining detailed knowledge of project scope. Cost control, billings, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly reports. Serving as the key contact with owner and architect. Supporting jobsite and self-perform work teams. Ensuring project completion, financial success, customer satisfaction. Coordinating planning and scheduling of projects. Qualifications Ideal candidates are flexible, detail-oriented team players capable of managing multiple tasks, producing quality work, and meeting deadlines. Requirements include: Excellent listening and communication skills. Ability to resolve complex issues. Ability to support team morale. Understanding of building processes and systems. Knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar). 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably within DPR’s core markets. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. This position is salaried.
