Director Of Advanced Analytics
The Director of Advanced Analytics will lead the advanced analytics team, supporting business operations through strategic initiatives by using descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. They will oversee business intelligence, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) efforts. This role manages projects that drive revenue, enhance the fan experience, and optimize organizational operations.
Key responsibilities include overseeing reporting operations, business intelligence solutions, and ML and AI initiatives. The Director will collaborate with all departments to foster a data-driven culture and ensure effective data utilization to meet strategic goals.
Essential Functions (including, but not limited to):
Oversee all projects and staff within the Advanced Analytics department.
Research, evaluate, and implement analytics solutions across business units.
Oversee business intelligence, ML, and AI efforts.
Collaborate with department heads to leverage data sources for objectives.
Manage reporting solutions for all business departments.
Support the fan data platform, including integrating new sources.
Prepare presentations and reports for leadership based on business goals.
Support revenue teams with pricing, forecasting, and projections.
Manage the centralized analytics hub for all departments.
Improve reporting accuracy and partner with departments to enhance reporting processes.
Provide modeling and data science solutions for key decisions.
Lead the Analytics War Room project, ensuring its strategic effectiveness.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's or MBA in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
At least 8 years in analytics or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years in management roles.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Qlik Cloud and Sigma.
Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs, and automation.
Experience with forecasting, statistical modeling, and causal analysis.
Preferred experience with Ticketmaster, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, DV360, LinkedIn Marketing.
Strong presentation skills with PowerPoint.
Experience handling large data volumes and cleansing data.
Experience in professional sports and business strategy is a plus.
Ability to develop predictive models and machine learning solutions for large-scale problems.
Understanding of ticketing, partnerships, suites, marketing, and finance operations.
