As the Senior Manager, Product for Taco Bell Voice AI, you will spearhead the strategy, development, and expansion of Taco Bell’s next-generation voice-driven customer experiences. This high-impact leadership position places you at the forefront of innovation, collaborating across disciplines to deliver seamless, intelligent, and scalable AI solutions for drive-thru and in-store guest interactions. Key Responsibilities: Product Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate a bold, data-driven vision for the Taco Bell Voice AI program. Establish clear KPIs and long-term objectives, ensuring the voice platform’s alignment with the brand’s digital transformation and guest experience goals. Roadmap Ownership: Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements across multiple workstreams—including voice agent development, hardware/software integrations, and user interface optimization. User-Centered Design: Serve as the champion for both guest and team member needs. Ensure the voice AI solutions are intuitive, reliable, and deliver tangible improvements to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with AI Engineering, Machine Learning, QA, DevOps, Data Science, and Operations teams. Align requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption across the organization. Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with Taco Bell’s marketing, technology, and operations teams, as well as external platform partners and vendors (including those for POS, HME, and menu systems), to ensure robust integrations and successful pilots. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept and discovery through pilot deployments and full-scale rollouts. Manage feature releases, monitor product performance, and coordinate incident response as needed. Continuous Improvement: Incorporate field insights, user feedback, and analytics into ongoing backlog refinement. Lead iterative enhancements to deliver business results and delight end users. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in AI, machine learning, or voice technology projects. Proven track record in delivering consumer-facing or retail technology solutions with measurable business impact. Expertise managing complex integrations with external hardware and software platforms (such as POS systems and IoT devices). Strong analytical and user-centered design skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable features. Outstanding cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conversational AI, natural language processing, or large language models (LLMs). Familiarity with enterprise voice platforms, speech-to-text APIs, and real-time machine learning environments. Background in restaurant, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or broader retail industry operations. Location & Work Model: Position based in Irvine, CA, at Taco Bell’s corporate offices. Hybrid schedule with 1–2 days per week required onsite. Occasional travel to test markets and pilot locations as needed. Why Join Taco Bell?
