Joint Forces Capabilities Data Analyst The Opportunity: As a data scientist, you're excited about unlocking the secrets held by data sets and fascinated by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of data open new opportunities. At Booz Allen, you can help turn complex data into useful information to solve global challenges across sectors—from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence. You will support Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications Joint Force Integration by assessing modernizing and future military capabilities across Components and Combatant Commands. Your responsibilities include identifying data sources, analyzing and extracting key data, evaluating data quality, developing and testing data methodologies, and creating cross-functional solutions through data collection, analysis, and visualization. You will apply data cleansing and analytics skills, simplify technical requirements for diverse audiences, participate in data validation, and present findings to clients and stakeholders using tools like SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik. You will establish metrics and KPIs to drive outcomes and document processes for visualizations. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders, develop documentation, and communicate effectively with high-level military leaders. Join us as we use data science for good. You Have: 5+ years of experience communicating analysis in both written and verbal forms 3+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining Experience developing data visualizations in Power BI or Qlik and writing analytical reports Proficiency with scripting languages such as SQL, R, or Python Knowledge of data principles, including cleaning, preprocessing, and wrangling Ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders and provide writing samples High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle large datasets TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience researching complex system architectures and providing solutions Experience with DoD mission and campaign modeling Skills in developing algorithms with R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL Knowledge of DoD acquisitions and project analysis Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools Understanding of joint force development and capability development Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Clearance:
