Senior Project Architect
Responsibilities
Leads all phases of architectural projects, leveraging extensive technical expertise across healthcare, science & technology, corporate, and higher education projects of varying scales and complexities
Manages and mentors small to large teams, overseeing production, delegation, and coordination of work while reviewing and approving contributions from internal and external team members
Conducts final reviews and approvals for code analysis, material selections, and project specifications
Oversees production of construction documents and manages BIM model development
Actively participates in client meetings, maintaining consistent communication with clients and consultants
Collaborates with Project Manager(s) to ensure project execution aligns with workplans, proposing adjustments to workplans and staffing as needed
Ensures team delivers work efficiently and technically accurately, fully understanding the required scope
Champions design excellence, motivating team members and consultants to prioritize innovative design
Develops and implements strategies to enhance documentation quality, reducing firm risk, and mentors’ junior staff to uphold these standards
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture
Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure
15+ years of experience in an architectural firm, with at least 5 years focused on healthcare, science & technology, corporate, and/or higher education projects
Demonstrated expertise in leading design, documentation, and construction administration processes
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
Strong ability to exercise sound and independent judgment
Advanced proficiency in Revit
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp

A generous salary $100,000 - $150,000 and benefits package will be provided. Remote work. Local to NYC must have the ability to get to the office on occasion and to client meetings, etc.
