Join us! Wealthfront Career-Launching Company Figure Series D Announcement About The Role We are looking for someone with a passion for marketplaces and products in the crypto and securities world. You will contribute to building out Figure’s innovative Marketplace as well as Figure Markets’ products. Figure Markets has a global marketplace platform that supports issuing and trading of digital assets, securities, and non-securities, using blockchain. Experience in one or more jurisdictions: Europe, Asia, Americas, Middle East is preferred. Our Legal team plays a central role in Figure Markets’ growth and our mission of leveraging blockchain to transform financial services. What You’ll Do Provide leadership in legal affairs for markets and products, advising on securities, banking, and insurance laws and rules Offer legal, business, and strategic advice to internal teams on digital asset financial products Guide products throughout their lifecycle, from conception to sunset, including construction and dismantling when necessary Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations regarding digital assets, blockchain, securities, and technology to ensure compliance Support legislative and policy development with legal analysis and interpretation Provide guidance to marketing and design teams on product lifecycle issues Build and maintain relationships with affiliates and ecosystem players for effective product management What We Look For At least 8+ years of experience in financial markets, securities, and cryptocurrency, preferably in-house counsel at a financial services firm Deep understanding of blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and smart contracts Experience with regulatory agencies (SEC, CFTC) is a plus Strong negotiation skills and experience with financial agreements Knowledge of compliance and regulations around digital assets and blockchain technology Interest in digital assets, blockchain, and DeFi innovations J.D. and membership with at least one state bar Excellent communication skills Effective project management skills Salary Range: $212,520 - $265,650 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly Equity stock options Compensation may vary based on experience, location, and business needs Benefits Health, vision, dental insurance with employer-paid premiums HSA, FSA, Dependent Care, 401k, commuter benefits Employer-funded life and disability insurance 11 holidays & PTO Up to 12 weeks paid family leave Continuing education reimbursement Note: Certain laws may regulate data management for California residents.
