Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for the design and technical systems for healthcare projects from schematics through construction administration. The ideal candidate will have experience working on healthcare projects and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and graphical, to oversee project milestones and maintain alignment with project goals. The Core Project Architect will lead project teams and contribute strategically to company growth in the healthcare sector. TYPICAL DUTIES Develop building system concepts and documentation from schematic design to construction administration. Support project pursuits by assisting in scope and fee development with Project Managers and Principals. Lead on large, complex projects when assigned. Oversee project team members and ensure quality deliverables. Prepare and monitor Discipline Work Plans. Conduct code research using platforms like UpCodes. Research materials and products for projects. Develop and edit project specifications in RIB SpecLink. Sign and seal documents when responsible. Participate in project meetings. Coordinate with other discipline leaders throughout project phases. Lead technical reviews following the HED Design Process. Work with authorities to secure project approvals. Review submittals during bidding and construction. Ensure quality architectural and engineering services within the team. Perform additional duties as assigned. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and Architect license in the US; NCARB Certification preferred. LEED accreditation is a plus, with a focus on sustainable design. At least ten years of experience in the A/E industry, specifically in healthcare projects. Comprehensive knowledge of all project phases from schematic design to close-out. Strong understanding of interdisciplinary coordination. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to motivate, mentor, and delegate to staff. Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Comfort with remote collaboration tools. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable. Commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Travel to project sites as needed. Access to project sites for observation and evaluation. Use of communication and documentation equipment. Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
