Top Tier Mid-Sized Financial Organization seeks an IT Infrastructure Vice President with strong project management experience to lead a small engineering team.
You will be responsible for designing, engineering, executing, and providing escalated (3rd level) engineering support for all server, storage, network, data center, data protection, virtualization, orchestration, and automation technologies.
You will lead and mentor a team of highly technical engineers in executing the department's multi-year plan, aligning network, systems, and communications architecture with evolving business needs in areas such as :
IT Continuity Management
Availability and Capacity Management
Change Management
Service Asset and Configuration Management
You will oversee and guide advanced technical work in the design, acquisition, installation, integration, operation, and maintenance of enterprise server/systems and cybersecurity infrastructure.
Develop comprehensive strategies and plans for making, buying, integrating, or acquiring new infrastructure technology to maximize value, collaborating with development teams on enterprise-wide projects.
Assist the IT Director in preparing quarterly and annual business reports.
Participate in long-term strategic planning for technical architecture and operations.
Requirements include :
8+ years of IT infrastructure experience in networking and servers
3+ years of hands-on management experience, including staff, project, vendor, and budget management
Experience designing scalable, highly available, and secure small to mid-sized, multi-site networks
Knowledge of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/2016, DNS, VMware ESXi, vSphere, Horizon View, Veeam, NetBackup, Backup Exec, SimpliVity, Cisco UCS
Understanding of Red Hat Linux, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Firepower, BigFix, LogRhythm SIEM, Carbon Black/Bit9 (preferred but not required)
Strong presentation skills
High initiative and leadership in driving business processes
Related Cisco (CCIE, CCNA) and/or Microsoft (MCSE) certifications (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
