Job Description
This position will plan, direct and lead Mechanical Engineering staff in the maintenance, improvement and repair of all mechanical equipment and electrical controls. Ensure a safe and efficient operation for all guests and employees..
Support the DOE/ADOE Mechanical & Elect in leading the maintenance and repair of all electrical controls, pools, HVAC, kitchen mechanics and refrigeration. HVAC & Refrigeration, plumbing, kitchens and building automation. Monitor the performance of the all Engineering staff. Manage the cogeneration, energy management and mechanical systems to maximize utility savings. Develop and implement training for the Mechanical Engineering staff. Ensure that all staff members can properly operate area related systems. Monitor work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure that work is properly complete and reported. Perform routine inspections and ensure that preventative maintenance programs are carried out. Ensure that the Mechanical Engineering staff is in compliance with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions. Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) for the entire Engineering division. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a related Engineering field or equivalent additional experience within an Facility Engineering Structure A minimum of five years Mechanical Engineering experience required with a minimum of four years supervisory experience preferred. Experience in Hospitality preferred. Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA. Journeyman certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required. Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property).
