Job Description This role is responsible for executing rigorous systems engineering processes to support the design, integration, and management of complex nuclear systems throughout their lifecycles. Working within established model-based systems engineering frameworks, this position ensures all system components work together effectively and meet project requirements. The Systems Engineer focuses on verifying and validating product requirements according to the systems engineering lifecycle process while maintaining clear documentation of design decisions and system interfaces. Responsibilities It is expected that this role will execute the core tasks and responsibilities listed below with minimal supervision: Provide ownership, responsibility, and accountability over technical scope involving the coordination of multiple contributors Collaborate across engineering disciplines and the business to improve systems, processes, and organizational effectiveness Apply systems thinking to analyze and design systems, considering interdependencies Optimize processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce waste, utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean Support data collection, analysis, and modeling for informed decision-making Lead efforts in stakeholder analysis, requirement management, system architecture, design integration, verification, and validation Identify and monitor technical risks, developing mitigation strategies Support value engineering activities, including cost analyses and feasibility assessments Draft and review technical documentation and communicate project progress Develop and implement systems engineering processes and MBSE tools within the quality framework Create process documentation and collaborate on employee training Perform operations management, production planning, and supply chain activities Manage projects through planning, scheduling, and risk assessment Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures Maintain professionalism in all communications Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in industrial, systems, or related engineering field from an ABET-accredited university 5+ years of engineering experience (Master’s or Ph.D. may substitute for some experience) Experience or knowledge in areas like system lifecycle processes, MBSE tools, operations research, or logistics Location:

4-5 days in office Travel Expectations:
10% as needed Hours:
8:00am - 5:00pm ET, Monday-Friday Compensation Estimated salary range: $116,820 - $149,270, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation may vary by region and does not include benefits. Position Job Classification:
