The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager is responsible for providing direction and support for all EH&S activities, including implementation, monitoring, and review of C&W compliance/performance. Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Identify, evaluate, and analyze work environments to create and manage programs and procedures that eliminate or control workplace hazards while helping to build a proactive safety culture. Conduct safety training, audits, and develop policies and procedures to promote safety culture among front-line leadership and staff. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment. Drive safety initiatives at the site level across all locations in the North Eastern node. Identify hazardous conditions and practices, assess existing equipment, machinery, facilities, or processes, and partner with stakeholders to reduce risks. Develop and enforce hazard elimination plans, conduct safety training, inspect machinery and equipment, and ensure PPE compliance. Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, positive reinforcement, and safety tools. Investigate safety incidents, analyze data, and prepare reports on safety metrics. Develop safety policies, procedures, and manuals. Conduct safety audits and inspections, and recommend corrective actions. Manage occupational injury case management and report on safety program status. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES: Manage safety training programs, facilitate new employee orientations, and develop training materials. Provide coverage for Safety Manager or Director when needed. Prepare and calibrate scientific equipment for hazardous substances or conditions. Perform tasks safely and efficiently. TRAVEL – Regular travel across the greater New England region is required, with travel time exceeding 50% based on business needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Education:

College degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management or similar; OSHA 30-hour Contractor Safety Course or OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety Course. Experience:

Minimum three years in industrial maintenance, distribution, manufacturing, or construction; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to stand for long periods, ascend stairs, work from elevated areas, handle and lift objects, and communicate effectively. Must observe details at close range. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, electrical hazards, vibration, extreme temperatures, and loud noise levels.
