Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and information returns. Lead and coordinate tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks. Supervise and mentor tax staff, review their work for accuracy and completeness, and provide feedback and guidance. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to stay abreast of changes and ensure the company's compliance. Develop and implement efficient processes and systems for tax planning and compliance. Provide expert tax advice to company management and make recommendations on tax-related issues.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required. Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP. Proficiency in ProSystems FX Engagement. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite and tax preparation software.
