We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Continuous Improvement Engineer
to lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity in our manufacturing operations. This role is central to driving a culture of operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in
manufacturing environments , strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through change. Key Responsibilities: Process Improvement:
Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve product quality. Lean Implementation:
Facilitate Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, SMED, and standardized work procedures. Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze production and performance data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement. Project Leadership:
Manage continuous improvement projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Training & Development:
Educate and coach employees at all levels on Lean principles, continuous improvement tools, and best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to support improvement efforts. Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor KPIs to track the success and sustainability of improvement initiatives. Cost Reduction:
Develop and execute cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or safety standards. Documentation:
Ensure that all improvements are well-documented and incorporated into standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in a continuous improvement, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering role. Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related methodologies. Experience in leading improvement projects in a production or industrial environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and facilitation abilities. Spanish speaking skills is a plus. Seniority level
