BCBA - School Behavior Analyst
to provide behavioral support and program development for K-12 School located at our Sunnyvale campus. As a School BCBA, you will oversee and train staff on behavioral programs for students on the Autism Spectrum. Essential Functions: Provide behavior consultation and services to children in the PACE School. Develop training for Aides, Teachers and other staff and present monthly training sessions. Develop and review functional and motivational behavior assessments, behavioral plans and interventions. Conduct on-site and direct observation of student's behavior and track progress, presenting suitable data assessment for the condition. Model the skillful usage of basic behavioral procedures including: behavior specific praise, effective prompting, and behavior reduction procedures. The candidate must possess the following minimum requirements for the BCBA position: Education
– Must possess a MA/MS degree in the field of Behavior Analysis or related field. Certifications
– Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB. Experience
– Should have at least 2 years experience working with the special needs population. Communication Skills
The position requires communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be creative and enthusiastic. Strong writing skills are required. The candidate must actively participate in meetings with Teachers, Therapists and other employees. Collaboration and team work are critical skills. Management and Organizational Skills
– This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to develop/implement written treatment directions and collect and interpret numeric data. Candidate must possess the skills to effectively train a team of employees. Technical Skills
-- Should possess the clinical skills to effectively work with Teachers, Therapists and classroom support staff. Driver
– The employee must possess a valid California driver’s license with a good driving record, proof of insurance and a vehicle for short trips between 2 local campuses, as needed.
