Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a well-established and highly supportive team handling complex family law matters across Southwest Florida.
Job Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, modifications, and adoption Handle all phases of litigation from initial client consultation through trial or settlement Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements Conduct depositions, mediations, and contested hearings Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure high-quality service Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients to guide them through difficult legal processes Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines in a fully electronic environment Utilize Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and county judicial portals efficiently
Qualifications
Active and in-good-standing member of the Florida Bar 4+ years of family law experience preferred 8+ total years of legal practice for Senior level, 10+ for Partner level Strong courtroom and litigation background Experience in civil litigation is acceptable if familiar with Florida Family Law procedures and evidence Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Confident managing cases independently while contributing to a team-based culture Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a paperless, cloud-based environment
