This senior manager role is responsible for managing a team in defining product strategy and vision, developing product roadmaps from ideation to launch, and making decisions on new products or enhancements to bring to market. Responsibilities include managing product enhancements based on validated learnings, avoiding technical debt, overseeing product teams and stakeholder groups, collaborating with operations and market stakeholders, managing discovery processes, prototyping, validation, tracking outcomes, and resolving user problems.
Essential Responsibilities:
Translate business plans into tactical actions, communicate goals, ensure policy adherence, oversee work completion, make decisions, align efforts, build accountability, incorporate resources and forecasts, remove obstacles, guide performance, and partner with stakeholders to meet product requirements and organizational strategies.
Foster professional growth and development by seeking feedback, building cross-functional relationships, hiring and training talent, delegating, encouraging open dialogue, evaluating talent for succession, setting performance goals, and providing coaching.
Lead a team in defining product strategy and managing roadmaps from ideation to launch, reviewing business cases, managing technical debt, ensuring documentation clarity, and working with teams to clarify features and requirements.
Manage product teams and stakeholder groups throughout the product lifecycle, resolving dependencies, collaborating on product adoption, coordinating training, leading demos, providing expertise, ensuring compliance, and managing risks.
Facilitate partnerships for discovery of new and existing products, review marketplace innovations, manage prototyping and validation, and funnel learnings into the product roadmap.
