We are seeking an
Informatics EMR Training Specialist
who will play a critical role in the success of Epic EMR adoption and optimization across our home health and hospice services. This person will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining robust training programs for clinical and non-clinical users, with a focus on aligning workflows to regulatory and home-based care standards.
Schedule
Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Hybrid; 2 days in office required

Larkspur
By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include
(but are not limited to):
Develop, update, and deliver Epic training programs tailored to Home Health and Hospice workflows Partner with IT Informatics, Quality Program Specialists, and Education teams to design training programs that meet operational and regulatory standards Create a supportive learning environment, offering constructive feedback and performance coaching Apply adult learning principles and varied instructional methods for diverse audiences
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, Information Technology, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in nursing preferably in Home Health, Hospice, or Community Health settings 1–3 years of experience in training, education, or clinical informatics, with EMR experience strongly preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Dorothy and Comfort Epic certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months Professional certifications (e.g., CHSE - Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator) or related informatics certifications are a plus Must have at least one current Epic certification
Pay Range
$39.00 - $52.00 hourly
