Job Title: Network Engineer III/IV

Job Purpose: Provide support to Network Operations Security Center (NOSC).

Job Description The engineer will support network operations in cyber environments, including engineering and maintenance within an extended NOSC to maintain a distributed architecture. The role involves working with NOSC leadership, remote team members, and event participants. Support includes the full systems engineering life-cycle. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position at a Defense agency in Research Park/UCF, Orlando, FL.
Required Skills/Experience
5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with LAN/WAN, switches, routers
2+ years of experience with VMware ESX/ESXi, blade servers, SAN storage
IAT Level II Security Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCN)
Cisco (CCNA) or higher certification and/or VMware Certified Professional (VCP): Associate, Advanced, or Design Expert
NetApp Certification – Implementation or Support Engineer
Scripting and programming certifications: PCAP, PCPP, ASP.Net, Javascript, PowerShell, Ansible
Experience with other virtualization platforms: Hyper-V, Citrix Xen, Oracle VM, Red Hat Virtualization
Windows/Linux experience and certifications
Knowledge of networking services: data protection, Active Directory, GPO, WSUS, DHCP, DNS, Exchange
Strong analytical, independent, and team-working skills, with excellent communication abilities
DoD government or contractor experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
US Citizen/Resident with active TS Security Clearance
Willing to relocate or reside near Orlando, FL
Compensation $120,000 - $150,000 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, HSA, FSA, and paid time off.
