#SITEC2025 Peraton requires Network LAN/WAN Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3. Position is located at NAB Coronado, CA. The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); support systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and device support; manage configurations, changes, licenses, and assets; conduct training; and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. These responsibilities are vital to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end-users operating globally 24/7/365. The Network LAN/WAN Administrator performs Tier one and two network support following the SIE OPORD. This role involves administering network and communication systems, including LAN and WAN systems. Key duties include: Installing, tuning, testing, operating, monitoring, upgrading, patching, fixing, defending, and managing WAN and LAN routing and switching hardware and software, including network devices and software. Planning, designing, engineering, configuring, operating, maintaining, defending, troubleshooting, and repairing LAN/WAN capabilities, circuits, satellite links, Internet connections, routers, switches, and encryption devices. Managing LAN Point of Presence (PORs) and WAN infrastructures, including external circuits and encryption devices. Configuring, maintaining, defending, troubleshooting, and repairing VLAN architectures and wireless LANs, ensuring security and connectivity. Provisioning and monitoring VPN services to securely connect remote elements, complying with DoD and USSOCOM policies. Troubleshooting network issues and evaluating the impact of architectural changes. Implementing network security measures and managing routers and switches. Collaborating with external circuit providers for outage restoration. Supporting LAN/WAN exercises and possibly working non-standard shifts to support USSOCOM missions.
