Associate Veterinarian , you will: Perform
physical examinations
and
diagnostic tests
on a wide range of animals. Diagnose and treat
illnesses and injuries. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients. Perform
surgical procedures
as needed. Administer
vaccinations
and preventive care. Consult with clients
regarding their pets’ health, provide education, and discuss treatment options. Ideal Candidate:
The
ideal candidate
will: Hold a
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
degree from an accredited veterinary school. Be
licensed
to practice veterinary medicine in
California
(or have the ability to obtain licensure). Have a
compassionate
and
patient-centered
approach to working with both animals and clients. Be a
team player
who can also work independently. Demonstrate excellent
communication
and
interpersonal skills
