About Us We are a studio grounded in rigor, guided by a deep respect for materials, and committed to design with purpose. Our work spans architecture and interiors and is driven by curiosity, craft, and a belief that space shapes how people live and feel. We’re a close-knit team committed to thoughtful collaboration, high standards, and making exemplary work. We believe the process is the product—and we’re looking for a designer who shares that conviction. The Role We’re seeking a versatile and thoughtful Interior Designer with strong interior architectural skills to support and shape complex residential projects from concept through completion. This is a hybrid role for someone who thrives in both the creative and technical sides of design—equally comfortable sourcing a vintage armchair, sketching a millwork detail, or refining a client presentation. You’ll collaborate closely with the principals and design team across the full project lifecycle, contributing to sourcing, drawing, procurement, and client engagement. You’ll also take on a leadership role in structuring and tracking project deliverables, guiding internal reviews, and maintaining steady communication with clients. Success in this role requires clarity of thought, a strong design sensibility, and a genuine interest in understanding and articulating a client’s perspective through design. Responsibilities 1. Concept & Design Development Collaborate with the Principal and design team to develop concepts rooted in narrative, context, and cultural relevance.

Translate abstract ideas into architectural and interior design language with clarity and creativity, including floor plans and furniture plans.

Design and detail interior architectural elements such as millwork, cabinetry, built-ins, stair details, and interior elevations.

Generate iterative studies—both digital and hand-drawn—to explore and refine design intent.

Create mood boards, sample palettes, and precedent packages that support narrative development and spatial intention.

Produce 2D and 3D renderings to support design development. Manage design team in production of renderings.

2. Technical Drafting & Documentation Draft and edit drawing sets with precision and consistency using AutoCAD; Revit and SketchUp experience is a plus.

Produce detailed interior elevations, sections, and construction drawings that support contractor coordination.

Collaborate with architects and consultants to ensure interior drawings integrate seamlessly with architectural documentation.

Maintain internal drawing standards and file organization practices.

3. FF&E Design & Procurement Source furnishings, lighting, materials, and hardware with attention to quality, appropriateness, and long-term durability.

Create and maintain detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and budgets.

Liaise with vendors, fabricators, and showrooms to request samples, quotes, and lead times.

Oversee procurement and tracking of FF&E; flag delays or issues proactively and coordinate installations as needed.

4. Client Communication & Relationship Management Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients; ensure timely, clear, and professional communication at all phases.

Lead client meetings and presentations; document decisions and feedback to inform design iterations.

Translate client input into actionable design updates while advocating for design quality and project goals.

Build long-term trust by managing expectations, being transparent about limitations, and navigating challenges with empathy.

5. Project & Team Management Develop and maintain project workplans, schedules, and drawing lists in collaboration with the Principal.

Coordinate with internal and external team members to align on priorities and deliverables.

Track project milestones, prepare agendas, and manage deadlines in alignment with studio capacity and commitments.

Lead internal design reviews to maintain alignment between concept and execution.

6. Studio Collaboration & Culture Actively contribute to design dialogue in team meetings—offering feedback, inspiration, and alternate perspectives.

Mentor junior team members when appropriate; share resources and knowledge generously.

Help document and refine internal systems, templates, and workflows to strengthen studio infrastructure.

Participate in ongoing discussions around studio values, design process, and creative development.
