They are looking for a dedicated Salesforce Solutions Architect who is capable of navigating complex client requirements to design world-class systems with precision and a commitment to quality. The Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of projects. This includes leading discovery and design workshops with clients, synthesizing client requirements into solutions, implementing complex solutions on the Salesforce Platform, providing technical expertise during sales, and supporting project managers to successfully deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. The SA should be energized by opportunities to connect directly with clients and have a proven track record of implementing high-stakes projects across challenging portfolios. Primary Responsibilities Leading requirements gathering sessions and mapping client business processes to ensure comprehensive understanding and successful implementation. Designing solutions on the Salesforce Lightning Platform that meet client requirements appropriately for their capacity and budget. Developing Salesforce implementation roadmaps for clients. Leading project implementation teams to ensure high-quality builds. Driving quality across all technical implementations for clients. Communicating solution decisions clearly internally and with clients throughout each project. Delivering projects using various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, as appropriate. Supporting project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Contributing to sales efforts by bringing technical expertise during the sales process. Contributing to clients' learning and development environment. Qualifications and Experience Required Interest in social service work or international development. Ability or willingness to work in Washington DC or relocate there. Relevant Engineering or Computer Science degree, or relevant work experience as a Salesforce architect. Relevant Salesforce certifications, including one or more Architect Certifications and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I. At least 3 years of technology consulting experience. At least 3 years of experience working on the Salesforce Lightning Platform. At least 1 year of designing solutions on the Salesforce Lightning Platform. Experience with deployment and testing on the Salesforce Lightning Platform. Experience leading client workshops and implementation teams. Enthusiasm for researching and exploring new tools and features on the Salesforce Platform. Experience with Agile development frameworks. Proficiency in Apex and Lightning framework development. Knowledge of integration patterns and frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interest or experience in working within small, dynamic teams. Positive attitude, supportive nature, and a good sense of humor. Desirable Fluency or proficiency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or other languages.
