About the Team:
The Construction Design & Delivery team is central to Relativity's growth. We deliver projects that lay the foundation for our future success. We build the factory that builds the rockets! Our team manages relationships with Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS, Security, government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects meet operational, safety, and environmental standards, stay within budget, and are delivered on time and with high quality.
About the Role:
Lead infrastructure project design at the Wormhole factory—from concept to permit and construction handoff
Translate operational needs into buildable, code-compliant design packages across disciplines
Coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage consultants, and integrate cross-disciplinary designs
Develop work center layouts with Manufacturing Engineers and CAD teams to meet equipment and utility needs
Manage design budgets, estimates, and change tracking with project controls and estimating teams
Support construction administration, including reviews, RFI responses, site walks, and punchlist validation
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
5+ years leading capital or infrastructure projects through design, permitting, and construction
Strong knowledge of building codes, fire/life safety, Title 24, and permitting
Experience managing consultants, coordinating interdisciplinary reviews, and stakeholder alignment
Proficiency in reviewing construction documents, redlines, and QA/QC deliverables
Organized communicator skilled in meeting notes, action trackers, and handoff packages
Nice to haves:
PE license or PMP certification
Experience in regulated manufacturing or cleanroom infrastructure

Hiring Range: $130,000—$166,000 USD
