Were looking to hire an IT Project Manager for a hybrid role in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, 612 month contract opportunity. In this role, you will join the IT Department of a global toy manufacturing entertainment company and support a program focused on implementing Audit and Compliance capabilities for IT General Controls, including SOX, Non-SOX, and Cloud Security. You will collaborate with the IT Portfolio Lead, senior leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and auditors to ensure the successful execution of critical compliance initiatives. IT Project Manager Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of regulatory compliance audits based on risk assessment.

Define and manage a portfolio of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Partner with IT Portfolio Leads and business stakeholders to develop and execute detailed project plans including resource allocation, financial tracking, communication strategy, and risk mitigation.

Identify and evaluate a full spectrum of risks related to processes, technology, compliance, and organizational policy.

Ensure audit findings are clearly documented, with root causes identified and remediation recommendations communicated effectively to leadership.

Coordinate and maintain cadence with technical teams, internal stakeholders, and auditors to monitor audit progress and deliverables.

Prepare and present detailed and accurate status reports, executive briefings, and updates in a timely manner.

Oversee execution of multiple workstreams, ensuring goals and deliverables are achieved within specified timelines.

Ensure timely and accurate work paper submissions and adherence to all compliance deadlines.

Manage project budgets of $310M+, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial accountability.

Assess and improve the efficiency and performance of reviewed processes and systems.

Ensure adherence to departmental policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards (SOX, Non-SOX, Cloud Security, etc.).

IT Project Manager Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of hands-on project/program management experience with a strong track record of delivering large-scale IT programs.

5+ years of experience in audit and audit remediation, particularly for regulatory and compliance-focused audits.

Solid understanding of SOX and Non-SOX audit requirements, general IT controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Strong experience leading cross-functional audit and compliance programs across technology and business units.

Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder engagement, and team management capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for managing executive-level reporting and cross-functional coordination.

Expertise in project and program management methodologies such as PMI, Agile, and Scrum.

Skilled in change management with the ability to lead and support organizational transformation.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, and other portfolio management software.

Background in financial services or regulated environments is a plus, especially in roles involving regulatory compliance and operations (preferred).
