Job Summary: C3 AI is the Enterprise AI application software company, delivering a suite of integrated products for digital transformation. The Data Scientist or Senior Data Scientist - Federal will work with federal customers to develop AI-powered enterprise applications and enhance analytics capabilities. Responsibilities: • Lead the research, design, implementation, and deployment of Machine Learning algorithms, intelligent agents, or optimization solutions for enterprise applications leveraging the C3 AI Suite. • Assist and enable C3 AI’s federal customers to build their own applications on the C3 AI Suite. • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features of the C3 AI Suite. Qualifications: Required: • US Citizenship (and willingness to obtain a security clearance) • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent fields. • Applied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised and unsupervised learning). • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Confident presenter, capable of articulating insights, results, and strategies to stakeholders, executives, and customers in high-stakes or strategic settings. • Strong mathematical background (statistics, linear algebra, calculus, probability, and optimization). • Ability to dive into a large ML codebase to debug and improve it. • Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team. Preferred: • Active TS/SCI with CI or Full-Scope Polygraph • Experience with deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or application of large language models (RAG, Agentic, etc.) • Understanding of optimization (constrained, stochastic, convex and non-convex optimization problems) Company: C3 AI is a provider of Enterprise AI software for accelerating digital transformation.
