The Integrated Space Effects (ISE) team is searching for a level 4 Operations Analyst or Engineer with experience in multi-domain (e.g. space, air, terrestrial) mission modeling, modeling & simulation (M&S), and data analysis. ISE is a team at Lockheed Martin Space within Engineering & Technology (E&T) that conducts operations analysis (OA). As a member of this team, you will provide data-driven insights to several groups across multiple Lines of Business within LM Space & across the LM enterprise, helping shape their strategies to meet customer needs. Supported projects vary across a program's lifecycle but often support early phase concept development.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Develop and apply modeling and simulation (M&S) expertise to support the analysis of complex space-based systems and missions.
• Create and maintain physics-based models of government & other systems, leveraging your domain expertise and engineering judgment to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analysis needs, develop solutions, and deliver results to stakeholders and customers.
• Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear and effective briefings and presentations.
• Translate customer questions into meaningful studies, and develop advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) methods to enable analyses that support requirements definition, system of system evaluation, interoperability in joint environments, and utility assessments of advanced technology and concepts.
• Integrate modeling and simulation capabilities into larger system-of-systems environments to support the analysis of complex mission scenarios.
• Drive project success through effective time management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with teammates, with a focus on delivering capabilities that inform decision-making.
Our level 4 employees typically have 5-9 years of experience. Basic Qualifications: • Experience with modeling, simulating, operations analysis, multi-int domain knowledge and analyzing satellite systems
• 5+ years experience programming and scripting using MATLAB, Python, R, or similar language
• 5+ years experience in modeling and simulation tools such as STK, ODTK, AFSIM, OD++
• Experience developing air and space system architectures and/or conducting architecture trade studies
• US Citizenship required
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance Desired Skills: • Bachelors and/op Master's degree with strong math, physics, and/or statistics background
• Experience with applying data science and/or machine learning techniques within analysis to drive more comprehensive results
• Space Operations experience (space domain awareness, battle management, resiliency, multi-domain) engaging with wide range of military, intelligence, commercial, and civil stakeholders, from operators thru executives, in the design, planning, and execution of exercises, analysis, and wargames involving space capabilities
• Operational experience working military and intelligence customer missions, in particular, first-hand experience with the development and evaluation of tactics, operating plans, and operating concepts
• Experience with RF systems development, testing and integration, or operations
• Demonstrated ability to relate with external customers across DoD and IC, in partnering/collaborating on end-user, mission-driven, end-to-end solutions
• Demonstrated ability to engage and partner with industry leveraging, developing, integrating, and operating end-user, mission-driven, end-to-end solutions
• Superb customer interaction, professionalism and initiative, ability to work autonomously, experience with small teams, and public speaking

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered:
