Job Responsibilities
Proctors are responsible for administering exams for SCC students in a quiet environment, keeping tests and testing materials in a secure location until returned to instructors.
Proctors also oversee exams from non-SCC institutions, following policies to ensure a secure testing environment for partner colleges.
The testing proctor maintains files, manages logs and records, compiles data, answers emails, and communicates daily with students, faculty, and staff.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
Organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask during peak testing hours.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Prior experience in the education field is a plus.
