Traveling MEP Site Manager
for an upcoming construction project in
Jackson, Mississippi . This position will lead the coordination and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on site. If you're a driven, solutions-focused leader with MEP experience in commercial or industrial construction, we want to hear from you. This is a
travel-based position . Following the initial assignment in Jackson, future project locations may vary across the U.S. Job Overview As the MEP Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site MEP activities from pre-start to completion. You'll support scheduling, coordination, subcontractor oversight, safety enforcement, and material logistics. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to the success of the build. Key Responsibilities Assist with subcontractor/vendor evaluation, scope development, and procurement
Manage and coordinate field activities for all MEP trades
Schedule subcontractors and monitor installation progress
Review and maintain up-to-date sets of all drawings (MEP, architectural, structural, etc.)
Track material quantities, labor productivity, and progress reporting
Coordinate jobsite safety; serve as Safety Officer if one is not assigned
Lead project startup and closeout processes
Assist with change order pricing, estimates, and billing reports
Enforce quality and safety standards in accordance with company and project requirements
Job Requirements Associate degree or equivalent work experience required
10+ years of construction experience, with 5+ in an MEP-focused leadership role
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and ability to read technical drawings
Experience in commercial or industrial construction environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with scheduling tools
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to
travel nationally
for future projects
Must pass a drug screen and background check
