to join its growing team. This role is perfect for a senior technology leader who thrives on solving complex business problems through thoughtful, scalable, and secure tech solutions. As a
vCIO , you’ll serve as a strategic advisor to multiple clients—aligning IT investments with business goals, overseeing tech roadmaps, and ensuring systems are optimized for growth, risk management, and efficiency. If you’re a forward-thinking IT leader who knows how to balance vision with execution, this is an opportunity to drive impact across a dynamic client portfolio. What You'll Do Conduct Business Strategy Meetings and L10 Meetings for Clients Lead and present Quarterly and Yearly Business Strategy Meetings to present the 3-5 year technology roadmap and budget for each client Maintain the pulse of the business relationship with the client using EOS Level 10 Meetings to review scorecards, process issues, and showcase accountability with To Do’s getting ‘to done” Manage the Business Relationship Understand and document each client’s business goals Engage with the client to uncover pain points that are opportunities to improve their business, culture, and profitability with the company’s solutions Develop Client Policies and Standards Collaborate with TAMs and engineers to formalize policies such as: Lifecycle Management Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Security Awareness Training Opportunity Management and Forecasting Collaborate with clients to prioritize and advance technology initiatives efficiently through the opportunity pipeline. This role is not about selling — it's about identifying what matters most to the client and aligning our efforts to deliver timely business cases and technical recommendations so that work is prioritized. Facilitate informed decision-making by educating clients on risk, impact, and outcomes. The goal is clarity — a quick "yes" or "no" at each stage of the opportunity enables the team to focus energy on the solutions that drive meaningful progress for the client’s people and business. Develop a Technical Strategy for Business Goals Translate client business goals and pain points into scalable technology initiatives by conducting technical assessments and discovery sessions. Evaluate the current IT environment and its financial impact to develop a data-driven financial analysis that supports strategic recommendations. Lead clients through risk evaluations, technology selection processes, and digital transformation strategies, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and long-term growth plans. Participate in audit preparation and compliance reviews. What You Need Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years in client advisory, consulting, or leadership roles within a Managed Services Provider or IT services organization. Proven experience building long-term client relationships and influencing C-level stakeholders. Experience delivering ‘QBRs’, defining roadmaps, and aligning technical execution with business outcomes. Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security best practices, and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure). Budgeting, cost analysis, and ROI modeling for IT investments. Understanding of industry regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, SOC 2). Comfortable presenting complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with PSA platforms like ConnectWise, Autotask, LifeCycle Insights or MyITProcess. CRM Experience to manage opportunities and create accurate budget forecasts. Certified Virtual CIO (vCIO) – TruMethods or equivalent ITIL Foundation v4 Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or CISM Microsoft Cloud Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Salary & Benefits Salary: $150 - $175 / year This is a full-time, long-term position.
