David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.

Role:
The Supply Chain Manager - Special Projects will drive execution and innovation across key cross-functional supply chain initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain operations, strategy, and execution - with a mandate to improve systems, launch new workflows, and scale emerging functions across our supply chain.
You’ll report directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain to build tools, optimize operations, and make sure the engine behind our bars runs as efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities :
Responsibilities may shift over time based on evolving priorities, emerging opportunities, and the dynamic needs of the business. They may include:
High-impact Projects:
Launch and lead special projects tied to supply chain efficiency, cost savings, and operational excellence
Identify gaps and bottlenecks in current supply chain systems and implement scalable solutions
Collaborate with leadership to roll out new technologies, systems, or vendors
Support readiness and planning for new product launches, pilot runs, or market expansion
Supplier & Contract Manufacturer Coordination:
Support supplier onboarding and qualification for key materials or partners
Support pricing negotiations and long-term planning with strategic vendors
Ensure compliance and quality across raw material sourcing and co-manufacturing processes
Inventory, Forecasting & Logistics:
Design tools to improve forecasting, planning, and raw material replenishment
Work with internal and external partners to optimize warehousing and 3PL performance
Own cross-org initiatives to improve lead time, reduce waste, and ensure supply continuity
Process & Documentation Infrastructure:
Build new SOPs, dashboards, and workflows that improve visibility across the supply chain
Manage project timelines and report weekly to the broader team on progress and impact
Bring analytical rigor to decision-making by tracking key metrics and operational KPIs
What you’ll bring :
3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment (consulting, investing, strategy, bizops, or early-stage startups)
Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
Proven ability to lead projects independently
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and switching between high-level thinking and hands-on work
Self-starting attitude with a love for executing on ideas and moving quickly
High IQ/intellectual horsepower
Low ego, high self-awareness, and eagerness to learn
Desire to help build an early-stage CPG company with a mission to create tools to increase muscle and decrease fat
Practicalities:
This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week — when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together.
Salary: $100 - $200K per year, dependent on experience. This is inclusive of cash bonus based on attainment of company targets.
