We believe traditional education methods are outdated and need to evolve to meet the needs of today's students. Our goal is to increase high-fidelity, authentic Montessori programs globally. The Floating Head of School Position We seek a leader passionate about the Montessori method, capable of growing enrollment, attracting and retaining staff, building community, and ensuring high standards of education. As a Floating Head of School, you will lead the campus assigned to you. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing a strategic plan for the campus Creating a strong organizational culture Building community among staff, parents, and children Delivering an exceptional program Meeting profitability targets, including managing the campus budget Collaborating with the Assistant Head of School to meet enrollment goals Hiring, supporting, and developing staff This role involves frequent travel and potential relocation for extended periods. Qualifications: Early childhood education leadership experience Strong organizational skills and results-oriented focus Excellent communication skills Ability to foster a warm, benevolent team culture Leadership skills with decision-making capabilities under limited information Passion for Montessori pedagogy Florida Director License Daycare Credential Preferred qualifications: Experience teaching in early childhood education Experience as a preschool director or similar role Familiarity with Montessori methods or certification Guidepost Montessori is part of Higher Ground Education.
