Production Planner with a strong background in procurement, product forecasting, and overseas sourcing . This is a senior-level, in-person position responsible for projecting product needs up to

6 months out , coordinating international supply pipelines, and ensuring production is scheduled to meet demand with precision. You will play a key role in

forecasting demand , managing vendor relationships, and ensuring

on-time fulfillment through advanced planning and cross-departmental coordination .

Advanced Excel skills

are required for reporting, projections, and capacity planning. The Ideal Candidate You are a proactive planner who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Youve handled long-range product forecasting, worked closely with overseas vendors, and know how to transform data into actionable production timelines. You're fluent in Excel, comfortable leading meetings with production and sourcing teams, and know how to pivot quickly when projections shift. Key Responsibilities Build, own, and maintain production and procurement forecasts up to 6 months ahead. Analyze sales trends, current inventory, and vendor timelines to generate accurate projections. Coordinate with overseas suppliers to align deliveries with production requirements. Collaborate with the production team to align scheduling, capacity, and staffing needs. Track and adjust the master production schedule to meet dynamic market demands. Ensure all schedules are maintained and communicated across procurement, logistics, and manufacturing. Mitigate supply chain risks and delays through scenario planning and alternate sourcing. Utilize advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, forecasting models) for planning and reporting. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in production planning, procurement, or forecasting. Experience working with product pipelines and inventory projections at least 6 months out. Background in sourcing or coordinating with overseas vendors. Advanced Excel skills (data modeling, forecasting tools, dashboards). Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration experience. ERP experience preferred (Acumatica a plus). Prior experience in manufacturing environments; cabinetry or related industries a plus. Must-Haves 5+ years in production planning or procurement roles. Experience with long-range product forecasting (6+ months). Proven success working with overseas sourcing. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Strong coordination skills with production or manufacturing teams.
