Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Assign responsibilities, manage timelines, and ensure execution by all project team members Ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards Coordinate subcontractor agreements and material/equipment procurement Review job progress, conduct regular site visits, and address project or contract issues as needed Manage scope changes and provide accurate pricing and documentation for change orders
Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure alignment with master schedules
Handle project billing, financial reporting, and contract closeouts Lead internal planning and progress meetings with project stakeholders Provide mentorship and leadership to junior project managers and staff Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 7 or more years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in mechanical or MEP sectors Proven ability to lead complex projects on-time and within budget Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders Decisive, results-oriented, and proactive problem-solving skills
