Description:

Job Summary:

Implement clean architecture and design patterns (e.g., MVVM) to ensure maintainable and scalable codebases. Write automated UI tests using Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS) as part of the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quality and stability. Manage mobile app builds and signing workflows, including provisioning profiles, certificates, entitlements, flavors, and schemes. Integrate third-party libraries and SDKs, such as Firebase, analytics, and location services. Consume and integrate APIs, handling authentication, errors, and performance optimizations like caching and retry logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, QA, and DevOps to deliver seamless mobile experiences. Integrate content from headless CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) into dynamic mobile interfaces. Stay current with platform updates, tools, and industry best practices to ensure the app remains modern and competitive. Review and merge pull requests from team members Mentor junior testers/developers in the team Create and execute test plans Ability to size the work, gather and review level of efforts from team

In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this senior individual contributor position is responsible for developing applications for Android and/or iOS devices by leveraging Agile methodologies to design and implement new customer-facing features; collaborating with product management and UX teams to create fun, easy-to-use client applications which maximize the user experience; and adhering to standard mobile device security practices. This position will also be responsible for contributing to the overall architecture of KPs mobile technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:

Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area; supporting the development of work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; ensuring team follows all procedures and policies; coordinating and assigning resources to accomplish priorities and deadlines; collaborating cross-functionally to make effective business decisions; solving complex problems; escalating high priority issues or risks, as appropriate; and recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and four (4) years experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Minimum three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions development life cycles (e.g., SDLC). Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports. Minimum three (3) years experience developing and/or implementing mobile applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years experience in test-driven development. Two (2) years experience in the development and integration of third-party source code or libraries. Three (3) years experience integrating API/services. Three (3) year experience applying Scrum development practices. Three (3) years experience programming Java/Kotlin for the Android platform. Three (3) years experience programming Objective-C or Swift in iOS. Two (2) years experience developing automated tests using XCUITest/Espresso. Two (2) years experience developing automated tests using a mobile device cloud (e.g., Perfecto Mobile, etc.). Two (2) years of work experience with CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Two (2) years of work experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure or IBM websphere application server. Three (3) years experience working with native mobile app DevOps continuous integration tools and technologies. Two (2) years experience working with native mobile app build tools. Two (2) years experience working with native mobile app dependency management tools (e.g.,Gradle, Cocoa Pods, Swift Package Manager, Maven, etc.). Two (2) years experience developing HIPAA/PCI compliant applications. One (1) year working with location technology (e.g., real time location services, beacons). Two (2) years experience working with mobile development or dev ops tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, XCTest, Gradle, Cocoa Pods, etc.).
