5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, military experience, or education. 6+ years software engineering, ideally in data/ETL. 4-6 years SQL. 2-3 years ETL using Python/PySpark. Experience with Airflow. Experience with S3, Parquet, or Iceberg. Desired Skills & Experience

SSIS .NET Core Apache Kafka Cloud and Cloud Architecture Kafka Event Processing What You Will Be Doing

Use SQL and stored procedures to transform data. Support existing BAU technology while re-designing systems over a 2-3 year timeline. Gather continuous requirements from the business to upgrade systems. Handle special projects and patches to technology. Work in 2-week sprints with 3-4 stories involving platform adjustments or data technology discussions, collaborating daily in Scrum meetings. Perform ETL processing, messaging, and SQL on large databases. Lead or participate in complex initiatives within the financial services domain. Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile practices. Ensure quality, security, and compliance of supported systems and applications. Provide technical support, advice, and consultation on supported applications. Create test data and conduct interface and unit testing. Participate in compliance and risk management initiatives, working with stakeholders to meet requirements. Assist others in advanced software development tasks. Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
