Job Summary: Persona is a configurable identity platform built for businesses in a digital-first world. They are seeking motivated iOS and Android Engineers to join their Collection Flow team, collaborating closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver high-performance mobile SDKs that power identity verification at scale. Responsibilities: • Leverage native mobile technologies to design, build, and ship best-in-class products. This may include full stack ownership to ensure seamless end-to-end user experience. • Collaborate with product and design teams across our platform, and sometimes even customers, to define requirements and build solutions. • Iterate quickly with small, progressive, and adaptive contributions. • Design and maintain developer-friendly SDKs that prioritize simplicity, clarity, and seamless integration. • Ensure efficient compilation, dependency management, and minimal binary size for performance-critical applications. Qualifications: Required: • 2+ years of mobile software engineering experience at a fast-moving technology company. • In depth knowledge of native UI frameworks (UIKit / XML Views), build systems (Xcode / Gradle), concurrent programming models (GCD / Coroutines), native camera frameworks (AVFoundation / CameraX), and native vision frameworks (Vision / MLKit). • You’re driven to uncover the root cause of every issue. End-user and customer reports aren’t just tickets—they’re challenges you’re determined to solve. • You build products in a way that maximizes value while minimizing complexity. You can take something ambiguous and turn it into something concrete and built for scale. • You go beyond implementing what is tasked and make product suggestions and features that help push our product forward. You are naturally curious and embrace change. • You learn from your mistakes quickly, and know how to unblock yourself when needed. You give yourself agency to take on new problems and drive them to impactful solutions. • Collaboration isn’t just a buzzword for you, it’s your secret to success. You leverage the diverse perspectives of your teammates and sometimes go out of your way to learn other functions to get the job done.
