Description
We are looking for a skilled engineer to develop software for real-time audio pipelines — for example, transmitting audio from one device’s microphone, over the network, to another device’s speaker. As a real-time audio software engineer in this role, you will be responsible for developing new features, writing unit tests, analyzing and optimizing performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance the media experience. Minimum Qualifications
You write elegant and maintainable object-oriented code in Objective-C, C, or C++. You have excellent attention to detail. You are highly motivated, self-directed, and a fast learner with strong communication skills. You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or have equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in multi-threaded development Experience with real-time audio stacks Experience with voice over IP Experience with test-driven software development At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
