About the Team:
The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops and operates advanced additive manufacturing technologies. This team ensures infrastructure, materials, tools, and equipment support rapid iteration and printing. They played a key role in manufacturing Aeon-1 for its first launch and are now pioneering new technologies and approaches for Aeon-R.
About the Role:
Support installation, commissioning, and operation of additive post-processing manufacturing equipment.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and safety protocols for additive manufacturing and post-processing equipment.
Establish process flows to meet production rate and quality goals.
Communicate roadblocks promptly to team leaders and technicians to facilitate quick resolution.
Monitor machine utilization and work to reduce planned and unplanned downtime.
Perform ROI and cost trade-off analyses to optimize machine capital and processes.
Implement tooling and statistical process controls to improve reliability, reduce costs, and shorten lead times.
About You:
BSc in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
5+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
Experience with powder bed fusion metal 3D printing.
Experience in fast-paced, iterative design environments.
Familiarity with ISO AS9100/ISO9000, medical device manufacturing, or similar standards.
Nice to Have:
Six Sigma Green Belt, SPC, DOE.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices like 5S or Six Sigma.

Hiring Range: $130,000—$166,000 USD
