As a Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase in Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, you will be an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. Your focus will be on developing and enhancing data platform solutions that empower our engineering teams within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization. With your experience as a product leader from a data-centric organization, you will guide the design and successful launch of data platforms and capabilities, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier experiences for data engineering users. Critical to your success will be your ability to seamlessly understand technical capabilities and build a strategic vision and roadmap for our data platforms.
Job responsibilities
Cultivate a security culture with your product, technology, and business colleagues. Prioritize controls that drive real risk reduction outcomes. Embed threat modeling, solutions architecture, and secure code review into product and application teams to ensure products are secure from inception.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of your product’s strategy, roadmap, and key investment programs. Self-motivate to learn unfamiliar technology components and business concepts, applying critical thinking to identify hidden issues.
Serve as your product’s security thought leader, sharing best practices with cybersecurity teams and becoming the recognized expert for IT Risk and Cyber domains.
Manage emerging issues proactively by monitoring Key Risk Indicators, communicating findings, and recommending resolutions, including root cause analysis.
Lead end-to-end supply chain management for your product. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on audits, risk activities, project initiatives, and vendor management, especially in cloud computing and emerging technologies.
Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including strategy, roadmaps, customer journey maps, OKRs, KPIs, and user guides.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5+ years of product management experience, particularly with data platforms or relevant domains.
Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics.
Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle from discovery to value realization.
Experience building or operating large-scale data platforms, either internally or via SaaS.
Strong knowledge of data architecture (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, data meshes) and technologies like SQL and NoSQL.
Experience working in a cloud-first environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with data engineering user journeys and product customization to meet user needs.
Ability to analyze and interpret data, with a good understanding of data governance principles.
