Job Summary
The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Operations will provide strategic leadership and drive operational excellence to achieve profitability safely with exceptional customer service for our Permian, Eagle Ford, and Rio Grande Valley regions. The RVP is expected to excel in logistics efficiency, fleet management, problem solving, financial management, communication with their team and C-suite, multitasking, organizational management, and having a growth mindset. Responsibilities include monitoring production processes, managing inventory and supply chain, ensuring plant safety and compliance with environmental regulations, managing budgets and financial reports, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors, coordinating between operations and sales, and collaborating with other departments. The RVP must ensure employees follow all regulations regarding storage, delivery, and usage of products, operate according to company policies, and stay within budget guidelines.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Region Performance :
Responsible for overall profit and loss, focusing on safety, profitability, growth, and customer service
Oversee day-to-day operations, supporting Region Managers and monitoring KPIs
Develop and implement plans to respond to emergencies and support business development
Support customer growth goals in coordination with sales and management
Manage delivery, service scheduling, efficiency, and optimization
Implement and execute company initiatives
Coordinate safety initiatives as directed by the safety committee
Oversee fleet maintenance, safety records, DOT files, and plant/asset compliance
Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with regulations and policies
Provide feedback on region performance and competitor activities
Maintain knowledge of systems supporting plant operations
Manage inventory and pricing programs
Meet or exceed revenue budgets and control expenses
Analyze plant reports and adapt to trends
Manage accounts receivable
Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and ethics
Coordinate equipment needs, repairs, and asset optimization
Personnel Management :
Supervise 3 Region Managers in Permian, Eagle Ford, and Valley
Recruit, hire, and train employees
Ensure timely recruiting and onboarding
Manage team meetings, development, and reporting
Communicate and enforce policies and ethics
Foster cooperation among employees
Customer Service :
Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries
Resolve customer issues effectively and follow up
Achieve positive reviews on review platforms
Promote company services and sales strategies
Improve customer data and engagement activities
Oversee community engagement and customer appreciation events

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with at least 10 years of management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with fuel products and industrial customer experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical, Mental, and Behavioral Requirements :
The physical requirements include travel, supporting markets 7 days a week, handling supplies weighing 20-75 pounds, prolonged sitting, and occasional standing, reaching, and kneeling. Must pass pre-employment screening and background check.
