This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, developing Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. We are building sustainable infrastructure for transporting crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface to support Blue Origin's mission of enabling millions of people to live and work in space. As a team of engineers, you will collaborate with software systems engineers and other discipline teams to ensure standards compliance and define processes for required compliance. You will help define the requirements for the next human-rated lunar lander and develop long-term strategies for lunar mission sustainability. We seek someone with technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission is essential! Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for avionics software deployment to hardware, simulated environments, and hardware-in-the-loop systems. Train and mentor team members on CI/CD best practices. Set team goals regarding project impact, product quality, and engineering efficiency, analyzing data to troubleshoot pipeline performance. Understand the safety-critical software development process and create tooling to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications

BSc or higher in Computer Science or related field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of professional experience. Experience with Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying high-quality work continuously. Knowledge of AWS (VPC, EC2, EKS), infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), software-defined networking, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Python, and GitLab. Ability to work independently and in teams, with a solid understanding of source control and git workflows. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with C/C++, unit testing, test-driven development, configuration management tools (Ansible), Agile methodologies, and aerospace safety-critical software. Compensation Range

CO applicants: $163,272.00-$228,579.75; WA applicants: $177,567.00-$248,593.80. Other site ranges may differ. Additional Information
