Responsibilities include: Overseeing a portfolio of multiple projects at various stages Recruiting, onboarding, and leading teams of engineers for technical problem solving Communicating project status to management and executives Leading multiple simultaneous projects Traveling for short-term and long-term implementations Applying process and LEAN principles to improve factory processes and KPIs Mapping factory processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing future states aligned with business growth Providing technical leadership and expertise in automation projects Researching and implementing state-of-the-art technologies Collaborating across multiple facilities and stakeholder teams Working with project managers to set goals, timelines, and budgets Building payback models and assisting with capital requests Mentoring and teaching teams to execute projects effectively Updating and improving processes continuously Attending trade shows and vendor visits to stay industry-current Preferred qualifications: Degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automation Engineering 5+ years in operations, process engineering, LEAN, automation Comfort with ambiguity and factory environments Shop floor experience preferred Ability to work independently and in teams Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Willingness to travel (~50%, mainly US) Leadership and mentoring skills Locations include Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Minnesota, Texas, and Mexico. Pay Range: $112,000 - $168,000 annually. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more. Candidates will undergo additional screening post-offer.
