Our CloudInfrastructure DevOps team plays a pivotal role in designing and deployingrobust infrastructure solutions to support SAP products and services. We are anautomation-first organization, prioritizing the deployment of all our cloudresources via automation to enhance efficiency and consistency. Our engineerscollaborate closely with internal product teams and customer-facing units todeliver adaptable and scalable code that meets the requirements of our diverseclientele. Candidates will have the opportunity to work across various cloudproviders using a wide range of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling andpractices, developing provider-agnostic solutions that ensure seamlessfunctionality across different platforms. Our infrastructure supports a broadclient base, including local, state, and federal government agencies, as wellas private sector organizations engaged in government-related missions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Write,modify, run terraform from an existing codebase to deploy and maintaininfrastructure across multiple cloud service providers. Be able to debugerrors when deploying terraform.

-Runansible playbooks to manage customer infrastructure. Be able to modify andtroubleshoot ansible as needed as errors occur.

-Use GitLabwith multiple repositories to maintain customer infrastructure and create mergerequests for changes to customer infrastructure.

-Configure,build, and deploy containerized services using Docker and/or Kubernetes.

-Accesstraffic flow data between customer and hosted environments to troubleshootconnectivity issues.

-Produceand maintain technical documentation in regard to network and system design andgovernance.

-Developstandard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, technical bulletins,and other documents in support of the infrastructure.

-Operate ina security-first mindset, performing all other responsibilities with securityin mind.

-Implementmonitoring, config management, and logging capabilities to manage a multipletenant cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud service providers.

-Usegenerative AI elements to increase efficiency and speed, improve accuracy andconsistency, enhance security, and better manage resources where practical andwithin security boundary guidelines.

KNOWLEDGEAND SKILLS:

-Knowledgeof Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) and least privilege concepts

-Knowledgeof AWS foundational technologies (EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, VPC)

-Knowledgeof Azure foundational technologies (Virtual Networks, Application Gateway,Storage Account, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Resource Groups)

-Knowledgeof GCP foundational technologies (Projects, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage,VPC)

-Proficientin using Terraform to build modules for deploying applications in AWS, Azure,and/or GCP

-Proficientin a CI/CD technology

-Proficientin a scripting or programming language for automation (bash, python)

-Experiencewith RBAC design and provisioning for users

-Investigationskills to review detailed Infrastructure and configurations

-Experiencewith logging and log processing in a cloud environment

-Workingknowledge of networking: ip routing, subnetting, network troubleshooting.

-StrongLinux OS skills - deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting

-Workingknowledge of ServiceNow

Minimumqualifications:

-Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

-5-8+ yearsof experience with the following technologies:

-Python,Terraform, Ansible, Concourse CI/CD, Vault, Identify Management

-Experiencewith Unix / Linux operating system internals and administration (e.g.,filesystems, inodes, system calls, hardening) and networking (e.g., TCP / IP,routing, DNS, network topologies, SDN).

Preferredqualifications:

-Expertisein designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

-Ability todebug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.

-Systematicproblem-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a senseof ownership and drive.
