Vice President / Infrastructure Engineering Lead
We have an immediate need for a Vice President / Infrastructure Engineering Lead for our New York City Office, located in downtown Manhattan, or our Mineola, Long Island Office.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., consolidated a portion of the experienced staff from both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
Lead the growth and coordination of LiRo-Hill's Transportation Engineering practice, including bridge, highway, rail, and traffic engineering services within the greater NY metropolitan area.
Oversee civil/structural engineering analysis, planning, and design tasks related to transportation systems and horizontal structures.
Supervise condition assessments, load ratings, and the development of repair and reconstruction plans for horizontal structures like bridges, culverts, transit stations, piers, and waterfront structures.
Utilize technical and project management skills in executing projects ranging from small rehabilitations to large-scale new constructions.
Mentor, train, and develop local engineering and CAD/BIM staff.
Lead the preparation of technical and cost proposals for new work opportunities.
Participate in local industry and business development functions.
Coordinate staffing, project financial performance, and performance reviews for the local team.
Perform financial projections and updates monthly and quarterly according to company standards.
Assist in developing and updating transportation engineering practice standards and drafting procedures.
Develop and maintain relationships with transportation agencies, authorities, and city/state clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering.
NY PE license required.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Ability to supervise, delegate, and guide technical staff.
Knowledge of code requirements and structural analysis software.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines consistently.

Salary Range: $195,000 to $250,000, based on qualifications and location.
