The Systems Architect will lead the design, development, and integration of advanced energy storage systems, including Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery packs and ultra-capacitor systems, for low-voltage (12V-48V) automotive applications. As the Battery System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining system-level requirements and developing robust architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, electro-chemical, and software engineers, to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance energy storage solutions that meet OEM requirements. This role can be a remote role.
Assess feasibility and optimize requirements by evaluating performance, constraints, and alignment with project goals. Cascade and allocate requirements across engineering disciplines and subsystems to ensure traceability and accountability. Define system architecture, including component interfaces and cross-disciplinary interactions, to guide cohesive design. Establish subsystem ownership by mapping responsibilities to teams based on system architecture and functional needs. Develop and select system concepts, analyzing alternatives to identify the optimal solution for performance and scalability. Integrate cross-disciplinary designs to harmonize subsystem outputs into a unified, validated system.

What we look for:
Required:
BS, MS degree in related technical field - or equivalent experience 10+ years of professional engineering experience in related field OE Automotive/Tier 1 experience with powertrain systems/components is highly desired Experience with EV/HEV battery systems is desired
Preferred:
Experience with automotive software validation process is desired Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines. Solid communication and organizational skills Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving environments
