Position: Solutions Architect
Pay: $140K - $160K
Location: Tampa, FL - Hybrid Work Schedule
Scope:
The ideal candidate will have a background in Application Development with 7-10 years of experience, specializing in ERP platform migrations from on-premises to cloud environments. Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications:
Any Cloud or Data certification is required. Experience:
7-10 years in IT, including at least five years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications, with a focus on application development and integration, supporting over 200 applications. Extensive experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle ERP, with expertise in cloud migration. While not a hands-on developer, the candidate should understand object-oriented programming, relational databases, and be capable of reviewing functional and technical documents, developing test data and scripts, and executing comprehensive system testing. Deep knowledge of enterprise application platforms and cloud computing, with strategic planning skills to align technology solutions with business goals. Prior experience migrating clients from ERP systems to the cloud, with a preference for Oracle-based ERP migrations. Understanding of financial principles, budget management, and cost optimization. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL service management best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design and govern architecture solutions collaboratively with stakeholders across business and IT to meet organizational objectives. Oversee Production Support, Governance, Instance Management, Access Controls, Technology Platform, and Disaster Recovery. Work closely with Program Management Office, Business Analysts, Application Development, IT Security, and Infrastructure/Network teams to deliver technology solutions supporting regulatory, financial, and decision-making needs. Assist in defining the future state of the enterprise architecture. Provide guidance on transitioning from current to future architecture through roadmaps and collaboration. Ensure governance aligns with industry standards and company practices. Create prototypes, reference architectures, and innovative solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and lead R&D efforts, including proof-of-concept projects and workshops. Offer guidance and assessments to IT teams and initiatives. Develop prototypes and demonstrate solutions that maintain the company's competitive edge. Analyze existing systems through interviews with SMEs to define current and future state architectures. Perform gap analysis to identify and address vulnerabilities, capacity issues, and SLAs. Collaborate on establishing and refining technology standards and practices. Champion best practices in product and solution design. Communicate effectively through various methods.
