As Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our team as a specialist in Cloud and/or AI/ML Security. You will be responsible for designing secure cloud infrastructure architectures for our enterprise AI/ML applications. We seek a cloud security leader passionate about AI/ML security architecture who can solve complex security configurations through innovation and established security architectural practices. Your in-depth cloud security knowledge will be applied across the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning development lifecycle, partnering continuously with product stakeholders to achieve shared goals. You’ll work in a collaborative, trusting environment that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions, contributing to your growth at JPMorgan Chase. Job Responsibilities Guide the evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the assessment of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks. Provide thought leadership for securing on-premise and cloud-based AI/ML solution architecture. Design comprehensive security architectures for cloud infrastructure projects. Design secure networks and systems based on industry standards and best practices. Identify and address security vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance issues. Create and communicate threat models. Partner with product managers to define objectives and roadmaps. Work with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during vulnerabilities. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas. Contribute to the engineering community by promoting firm-wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle. Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Formal training or certification in software engineering/architecture concepts with 5+ years of applied experience. Hands-on experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions and controls. Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages or applications. Deep technical knowledge in architecting, designing, and integrating security solutions in large-scale, distributed applications. Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and processes, especially in public cloud, AI, ML, or mobile domains. Strong understanding of AI/ML security concepts, threats, and vulnerabilities, including Generative Large Language Models. Solid understanding of cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, GCP. Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems. Practical experience with cloud-native architectures. Capability to evaluate emerging technologies for future architecture solutions. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP. Understanding of IAM concepts, including provisioning, PAM, RBAC, ABAC, SCIM, LDAP, and governance standards. Experience with federated identity platforms. Experience with API security and cloud API integrations. Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST 800-53, OWASP, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, PCI, GLBA. Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
